RH | Still Motion Pieces

Edited 6 animated slideshows of lifestyle photography - all for RH’s ​Baby, Child and Teen lines. Worked closely with design leaders to ​polish the timing, titling and key-framing. Operated confidently under ​tight deadlines and several last-minute changes. Thought outside the ​box to adapt the same sequences for desktop, iPad and mobile aspect ​ratios.

RH | Interiors Collection

The hero homepage video at the top of rh.com - shot on the Sony Venice ​2. Took on data wrangling responsibilities, and streamlined the ​transcoding workflow for this high-level, 6 day shoot. Did preliminary color ​tests, and worked with the 1st AC to ensure all info in the 8K raw footage ​retained for post. Completed cosmetic VFX (with Boris Silhouette Paint) to ​beautify sample products. Removed scratches and stains. Aligned ​seams and slouches.

RH | Gemini Collection LP

A video ad for RH’s new outdoor rattan sofas, lounge chairs and chaises. Shot on ​ARRI 35 at a high-end home in Sonoma County, this piece encapsulates design ​ethos and luxury living. Completed challenging rotoscoping work on the wavy, laced ​design of the material. Shifted several rattan pieces from beige to black (in DaVinci ​Resolve) for final publication.

Short Film | Land Birds

The emotional journey of two sisters. A Stanford University film, soon to be ​distributed to festivals. Completed several sky replacements to ensure ​time of day remained progressive and cohesive. Used Resolve’s face ​refinement and beauty tools to soften the skin of characters in closeup. ​Stabilized and de-noised problematic drone footage.

RH | Maro Collection

Expanded on the progress of a pro colorist, and continued the video team’s ​vision in their place. Some shots I graded new from scratch. Removed ​background items like fire alarms and lawn sprinklers. Aligned rope details on ​the product - using the clone function of Resolve’s color tab.

RH | Malaga Collection

Another project begun by a pro colorist that I finished. Studied and broke down the ​existing node tree, then added to it. Several cushion color changes, which demanded ​rotoscoping. Scratch and tag removal from faulty sample products.

RH | Outdoor Compilation

The (previous) hero homepage video of RH.com. Seven glamorous collections, to illustrate RH’s ​massive 2024 Outdoor Launch. Captured on ARRI 35 in Mexico, and Napa County, CA. Completed ​provisional color and VFX work for leadership review. Sessioned with key members of video team to ​recover detail and establish a look on several temp grades. These grades were relayed to remote ​lead colorists for reference. Worked side-by-side with professional ILM rotoscoping and paint artists. ​Implemented new techniques into my own roto for this project.

RH | Outdoor Materials and Care

A short video ad of closeup, detailed product shots. Shifted fabric color to better represent what is sold on ​RH.com. This required rigid color accuracy and rounds of review with company leadership. Removed ​smudges and dust from product, beautifying select shots. Completed rotoscoping (in Boris Silhouette), and ​exported alpha mattes for pro colorists. Completed reframing and minor adjustments in the Premiere Pro edit ​for delivery.
